Great News!!!!! Lots of you are struggling with devices for remote learning. We do have a small number of devices to loan out to eligible families but with increasing requests for devices we are not going to have a enough for everyone but we are committed to supporting our families as much as we possibly can. We know that lots of our children have gaming devices, such as; PlayStation and Xbox's. You can now access google classroom from these devices.
We have attached a video to show you how you can do this from home. We will be contacting eligible families next week who will be able to come and collect a device but if you have these gaming devices please start to use them, as we do not have bottomless bucket of devices in school.
Thank you for your continued support and we hope you find this information useful.
School are working really hard to ensure that your children are still receiving an education, despite the national lock-down. Teachers, parents and children have had to adapt quickly to new ways of teaching and learning. We have more devices to get out to eligible families next week but we would really love to hear your feedback. Thank you
We will continue proving KS2 with toast (tuck) in a morning.
Due to social distancing and keeping bubbles safe, this will be on a rotation.
As a good will gesture to support families during the Covid-19 pandemic, this will be provided for free, and will be reviewed to ask for a small charge after Easter.
This rota may change as government guidance changes, so check this page daily.
We will continue serving hot dinners on a fortnightly rotation in order to keep our school community safe in their bubbles. This will be continually reviewed in line with changing government guidelines.
Children will be served at their seat, rather than queuing.
The hot meal should be booked and paid for in advanced, at a cost of £2.10.
We will be serving pizza, chips, side salad and a selection of deserts, such as vegetarian jelly, cookies, fruit etc which will all be served on paper plates.
Sandwiches will still be available for those that do not like the hot meal option.
If it is not your child’s day for a hot dinner, they will still be provided with a packed lunch if they are entitled to free school meals or have paid for a packed lunch.
