Headteacher's Welcome

 Dear Parents,

Thank you for choosing to send your child to Hillary Primary School.

A school has been on this site for over 100 years.

I hope the school website will give you an insight into the education and experiences your child will receive.

Hillary is a friendly and happy school where children are taught the skills they need to thrive.

Enabling them to grow and be successful members of a modern British society.

Our school community is proud of its diversity and celebrates its importance at the heart of Pleck. Hillary has over 700 children on role and has children who collectively speak 50 languages.

Add our website to your favourites list and visit us regularly to keep up with events, activities and achievements.

Contact the school office if you need to know more.

The office team will be happy to help.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs A. Taylor

Acting Headteacher

Head Teacher's Newsletter

Isolating at home? Well enough to learn? Log in to live lessons daily with your teacher!

If your child is isolating at home but are feeling well, they will be able to remote in to their lessons in school with their class teacher; providing the member of staff is not absent. The class teacher's will be online daily and your child can remote into the lessons and access their work. They will be able to speak to the teacher and ask questions. As a school, we are proud of the remote learning provision we have provided and will continue to stride to ensure all children can access an education, despite the difficulties Covid may present.

Please ask your child to log in to their google classroom and click on the join link. If they cannot remember their log in details please contact the school office.

Our Year 6 Leavers Music Video

We cannot tell you how proud we are of this bunch of children. They have shown such resilience throughout the Pandemic and have come out the other side amazing individuals. In collaboration with Magic Mountain Creative the children wrote their own lyrics, recorded their songs and performed with confidence for the camera. This is a memory to keep forever of their time here at Hillary. We hope you enjoy this video as much as the children and staff did. Well Done Year 6! (magicmountaincreative.com)
