It has been fantastic to see our WONDERFUL children return to school. Our classrooms are buzzing and both staff and children have embraced the new term, enthusiastically. We are all so PROUD of you because you have adapted really well to the new environment in school. We know that there have been lots of changes and rules that we have had to adhere to since we have been back. Keeping you SAFE is our number ONE priority.

Something to look forward to in the next few weeksu2026.You will be involved in fun, stimulating and engaging lessons, where all the subjects will come alive! Learning in year 3 will be creative so be prepared to be hands on, get messy and enjoy yourself. WE AIM TO HAVE FUN!!!

As the children have had a long period out of the classroom, we have planned to teach a bespoke curriculum that has been designed with this in mind. Lessons are tailored to suit the social and emotional needs of the children, with plenty of opportunity to share individual experiences.

Our Thrive programme has been carefully planned to help children manage their emotions. This will improve their mental health, social and emotional wellbeing and teach them strategies to cope with the ever changing times.

In the autumn term, the timetable will allow children to catch up with missed learning and focus on basic skills from year 2 such as: spellings, reading skills, writing, and maths (including learning the timetables). Alongside this, children will not only be taught an enriching curriculum but they will gain a breadth of knowledge that will allow them to understand more about the ever changing world around them. Lessons will be engaging, innovative and FUN!!!

PE will continue twice a week and children will come to school in their PE clothing and comfortable trainers. We all need to maintain our health and wellbeing.

Lots of EXERCISE and BRAIN BREAKS throughout the day.
